A century ago,
inside Notre-Dame de Paris, someone said:
“Humans try to reach the stars,
to carve their stories
into stained glass and stone.”
Now,
I stand in a pile of trash,
and I can still carve my story—
on plastic,
on metal.
I’m sorry.
I’ve made more trash again.
Someone once tried to create “eco-friendly art.”
Ironically,
they ended up producing
a mountain of new garbage
in the name of creativity.
I don’t want to be that kind of person.
